The second of Goldsworthy’s “stone rivers’ in a man-made lake, whose water level is controlled by a dam. The act of submerging works and the attendant impact upon the submerged work’s visibility have long interested Goldsworthy. Self-contained within a controlled circumstance, the work becomes, however, much more about the light and surface.
