Goldsworthy constructed Seven Spires in Grizedale Forest, Cumbria, as part of a Northern Arts Bursary Award. The work comprised seven sets of pine trunks pinned together with metal rods to form tall, slender “spires.” Goldsworthy built them approximately 25 feet high and located them within and at the edges of a dense pine canopy. |
