The Figge Art Museum presents A Surreal Lens: Photography From the Figge Collection. An Exhibition that invites viewers into a world where photography becomes a bridge between reality and imagination. Works that tap into the subconscious, the uncanny, and the absurd. Photography is often seen as a tool for objective documentation, but from its earliest days, artists have used the medium to distort and transform reality. Through techniques like montage, double exposure, retouching, darkroom edits, and digital manipulation, photographers have long explored the space between the real and the imagined. Selected from the Figge's collection, these artworks invites viewers to reconsider what a photograph can be. Photographer Linda Connor will be included in the exhibition.
