Tune in to KQED this Sunday to hear acclaimed photographer Meghann Riepenhoff in conversation with Bay Area visual artist Nigel Poor as they discuss Riepenhoff's work, both in subject-matter and process. Through her camera-less cyanotypes she works in collaboration with natural elements like water, sediment, and wind to examine our relationship with nature and time. Riepenhoff's art is intentionally vulnerable to weather conditions like wind, and her interest in environmental degradation as well as the sublime carry across her work, in series Waters of the Americas and State Shift.
The talk will be broadcasted on KQED on February 15th, 17th, and 18th.
