The Museum of the African Diaspora proudly presents the third annual Nexus: San Francisco/Bay Area Black Art Week. An artist talk featuring Adrian Burrell will take place during the Oakland Museum of California's (OMCA) Friday Nights series and Oakland Art Murmur’s First Friday Art Walk and street fair. Adrian Burrell’s practice includes photography, film, installation, and experimental media. His work examines the intersections of race, class, and intergenerational dynamics, inviting moments where collective storytelling creates space for remembrance. Join OMCA on Friday, October 2nd from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM for a conversation between artists Mildred Howard and Adrian Burrell.
